A trained humanistic psychotherapist, psychologist and broadcaster, Corinne Sweet is the author of eight non-fiction titles (see our Self-Help and Happiness section). She has written bestselling misery memoirs as well as nostalgia/historical non-fiction, both under her own name and as a ghost writer.
Her recent titles include MONEY ON'T TABLE (September, 2017) about grit, work and family pride in Nottingham from the 1930s-60s. The book, based on six real life stories, describes the growing urbanisation and changing youth culture of the day. Corinne is particularly skilled at interviewing people and drawing out poignant stories as she brings to bear her training as a therapist, journalist and writer. Her most recent book is THROWN AWAY CHILD with Louise Allen, published by Simon & Schuster in December 2017.
