Dr Kevin FoyDr Kevin Foy is a medical doctor and a consultant neuropsychiatrist for the Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery NHS Trust and the award-winning Cheshire and Merseyside Rehabilitation Pathway. He is editor of the Neuropsychiatry Newsletter (5000 members) and is adviser to the UK’s national brain injury association Headway.
He treats patients with brain damage from trauma, bleeds, infection, cardiac arrest and tumours, assessing and managing the physical, behavioural, cognitive and psychiatric consequences of acquired brain injury. He sees patients at all stages – from intensive care to general inpatient wards, rehabilitation units and in the community. His book THE BRAIN INJURY BOOK: A GUIDE FOR SURVIVORS AND FAMILIES, a jargon-free resource that offers advice and answers questions about overcoming and living with acquired brain injury, was published in 2020. |
