Theo MooreTheo Moore spent several years teaching reading, writing, maths and social skills to primary school children. Now retired, she lives in Bath surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She spends her days gardening, cooking, reading, playing Mah Jong and writing.
A great lover of books, Theo has been actively involved with the Children's Literary festival of Bath, helping to steward events and nurture a love of reading. Her children's book THE ALLOTMENTEERS was inspired by her time living in a rented flat that lacked any outdoor space. It was published by Ragged Bear in 2020. |
'The story is told simply but with real charm, and its message of the empowering joy of growing things is very effective. A book to nurture genuine interest in gardening (and cooking) among children. Colour illustrations by Sarah Van Dongen make it even more delicious.' Andrea Reece, Books For Keeps
