Following the devastating loss of five babies, Zoe decided to use her counselling qualifications and twenty years of experience in the business and charity sectors to improve support for anyone who suffers baby loss. She founded the Mariposa Trust with her husband, which in just five years has become one of the leading support charities in the UK, reaching over 50,000 people each week across the world. A trained business leader, Zoe heads an international team dedicated to breaking the taboo nature of loss and providing innovative support to anyone in need, particularly through online platforms. Zoe’s ability to integrate social media with real world support has led to a real breakthrough in the care of people going through loss, a fact that has won her numerous accolades. Awards include the DSC Influencer of the Year, a Prime Minister’s Points of Light award and the honour of a British Citizen Award for Services to Health. The Secretary State for Health Jeremy Hunt has recently appointed Zoe to co-chair a new national review of loss across the NHS and the UK. During the last five years Zoe has become a leading voice on subjects such as baby loss, grief, and family support. She conducts numerous TV and radio appearances each week and has become a regular guest and commentator on BBC Breakfast and ITV. Zoe also writes articles for The Huffington Post. Zoe’s first book, SAYING GOODBYE (David. C. Cook, September 2017) has reprinted 3 times in its first 6 months. She is now working on her second book.
