More specialist subjects made refreshingly accessible, entertaining and relevant for the layperson.  We are actively looking for excellent, accessible writing teamed with brilliant concepts and ideas - with popular appeal. Areas we feel would fit particularly well with our list are domestic history, environmentalism and social change, popular culture, neuroscience and nature writing, as well as biographies and a historical take on subjects in which we already specialise, such as food and humour.
