Sarah NorrisSarah Norris is one of the most accomplished and experienced maternity nurses in the UK and an expert in her field. She has an NNEB in Nursery Nurse Training, a BSc in Wildlife Conservation and a raft of baby-care certificates. She has spent the past 23 years caring for hundreds of babies from varying social and cultural backgrounds - including celebrities - and has developed a unique approach to guiding her clients through any problems they are experiencing with caring for their babies. Her advice on feeding, winding, routine, sleep and crying is based on compassion, common sense, thorough research and an ability to communicate. Above all she advocates a non-critical, sensible, inclusive, pressure-free approach to parenting. Sarah lives in Cheshire but travels all over the UK for her work. Her first book, BABY DETECTIVE, published in September 2017 by Orion Spring, established her as a major new voice in baby care. The audio book is narrated by Natasha Brown. Visit Sarah's website. Praise for Sarah Norris
'Sarah's calm, point-by-point approach is the perfect way to talk down frazzled mamas who can't work out what's upsetting their baby - so don't panic, she's got your back. And her chapter on What Is Normal is hugely reassuring.' Gurgle
'It's definitely one we recommend to our mums. I particularly liked the advice on winding.' Louisa, founder of lullaby.co.uk
'A definite must read for any first time mums and those suffering a crisis of confidence. I would really recommend this as a baby shower gift for any new mums to be out there. They might not appreciate the book over the cute outfits to start off with but trust me, a few weeks in and when they pick this book up they will be thanking you non-stop!' Stephanie Outlaw, Alexie
