Alongside her therapy work, Ruth is a keen adventurer. In autumn 2018, she ran solo and unsupported across the Bosnian Dinaric Alps, an assumed world first. Day-to-day she enjoys the small adventures and can be found kayaking, running and biking in the UK uplands. She enjoys inspiring people through new adventures that combine her love for place, people and purpose. In 2019, Ruth took on the supervisory role of CIC Director for ‘Rooted for Girls’ a unique woodland-based psycho-educational programme for teenage girls in the North of England.
