Corinne Sweet
A trained humanistic psychotherapist, psychologist and broadcaster, Corinne Sweet is the author of eight non-fiction titles and has ghosted several books, including four bestselling misery memoirs (see separate entry). She was a C4 'Big Brother' psychologist and still makes regular appearances on TV and Radio. Trained as a reporter on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Woman’s Hour’, she has worked for the World Service, and been an 'Agony Aunt' on LBC and TalkSPORT. Corinne frequently acts as a psychologist/spokesperson for various media/PR campaigns.
She is the Chair of the Books Committee of the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain, and champions women’s and writer’s rights wherever she can. As a therapist she works out of the Barnsbury Therapy Rooms. Her specialist areas are:
