Biography

Kate is a mentor, author, speaker, facilitator, artist and podcaster.  She is the author of Second Spring: the self-care guide to menopause, named one of the seven best books on menopause according to the New York Times.

Kate mentors professionals and sensitive people in perimenopause and beyond, 1-2-1 and in groups. She is also a nature-based Yoga Nidra meditation guide and the host of Life - An Inside Job podcast. She has been a therapist for over 30 years and creates multi-level art textile projects.

Kate is fascinated by the bittersweet process of ageing and is currently writing about the journey of postmenopause to end of life. When she’s not doing these things, you’ll find her spotting swifts or playing in her compost heaps.

Kate has featured in The Sunday Times, Psychologies Magazine, BBC radio, Time Out and written for well-known publications, like The Independent, The Belfast Telegraph, Well Doing, Juno Magazine, Stylist Magazine, Mind Body Green and Top Sante.

‘Kate Codrington’s guide knits individual experiences and sound advice into a rich patchwork telling of women’s varied transitions through menopause. It is hopeful, truthful and wise.’

Susie Orbach, psychotherapist and author of Fat Is A Feminist Issue
