Biography

In September 2022, Sarah was involved in a devastating tube accident on the London Underground that changed her life forever. Despite this, she remains committed to inspiring others and helping create awareness around the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Sarah has appeared several times in the media following the accident, shocking and inspiring everyone she meets with her story and her overwhelming positivity and gratitude for life. She has appeared on BBC Woman’s Hour and has featured on BBC News, Daily Mail, Mirror and The Sun.

Her message of hope has touched thousands of people, and her GoFundMe page has now raised £250,000 with over two thousand donations in support of Sarah receiving a bionic leg and arm.

She is an ambassador for the prosthetics specialist COVVI, showing how life-changing this technology can be for people.
